UPDATE (2) Apparently these commercials will be shown shortly on the First Direct website as a possible trial for airing on TV.

UPDATE: well, as you can see, these commercials have not yet appeared. There have been some serious issues with the head client, HSBC, and there is no air date at all at the moment, sadly.

The most disappointing thing is that they are probably the best commercials I have directed in the last 5 years. Opps.

Even if they do not make it on air, I hope to be able to put them on my reel very soon.

Have been shooting a new campaign for First Direct for JWT that drops this Friday on TV. I am really excited about these commercials. They are starring the actor Paul Kaye and the stand up comedian Paul Foot.

We have edited and shot the first one and shoot the second next week. I am delighted how they've turned out.

In the 295 years it has taken me to get this site ready there have been births, deaths and several world cups.

Infact men have walked on the moon since I first decided on finding a new portfolio and blogging platform for my work.

So imagine my joy when I came across the film directors and designers "US" @Us_Tweets I was so impressed with their site www.weareus.co.uk I called them up and they introduced me to Fabrik, a new portfolio and blogging platform they've designed with Ben Foster @benfosterdev

I must say I really enjoyed working with them. Here's what we came up with.
